About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find more time to travel!

ABOUT ME

Well i'm an Australian guy, born of Argentinean parents whose families are of European descent. I've travelled quite far but not far enough. I've spent lots of time in Melbourne but managed to work and live in Chile for 9 months. I'm always planning a trip overseas and trying to find new and unusual ways to entertain myself... oh and my absolute pet hate is when people come into a lift/into a train/tram door before i have had a chance to exit.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is half what happens to you, half how you interpret it and half what you make happen for you... and yes, i know that's too many halves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a fair number of couchsurfers crash with me over the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good. I'm still hanging out to surf other people's couches when i next go overseas. The only problem is i'm badly organised so i should get my act together early!

Interests

Travelling, reading, playing poker, eating pickles, snowboarding, partying, eating Japanese food, Afgani food, Lebanese food, Turkish food, good Italian food, Indian food... you get the idea, i like food from many different cultures! Researching the origin of sayings, getting lost in new cities, eating the weirdest stuff i can find overseas, drinking mate (herbal drink from Argentina), drinking good red wine, chilling out, running, outdoor exploring, trawling through second hand bookshops, re-discovering great but neglected authors, interacting with locals when i travel, architecture, visiting castles, learning, golf, Australian Rules Football (and the great Hawthorn, in particular), World Cup soccer, gang and prison films, cooking, meeting interesting and intelligent people.
