About Me

Hey there! I'm currently a videographer/editor living in Brooklyn, NY. Below you'll see all my profile info from before they switched over to this one!

I almost always find a reason to laugh and smile, and have such a good time doing it with others. I'm pretty easy going. I work for myself as a freelance videographer which is great as it allows me time to travel. I love to cycle (usually ride about at least 15 miles multiple times a week) and generally to be outdoors. Any day where I can enjoy a nice coffee, be active outside, share some stories, laughs, and drinks with friends, old or new, is a good day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used CS in late 2012 when I went on a solo cross country road-trip. I stayed with around 7 hosts I met through the site. Each one was awesome in it's own way and I really got to enjoy meeting and becoming friends with such a diverse group of people. I also went to meet ups and other events that were truly very special to me.

While I don't couch surf as often, I do enjoy still going to meetups and making fast friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide array of rock/indie, music festivals are great too, I've been to the 4 day fest Bonnaroo(TN) 3 times and loved it (since moved on to Firefly fest). I find live music in almost any form pretty entertaining. Anything I can dance to is also pretty good! Movies wise I like mostly drama, action, comedies. Inglorious Bastards, Vanilla Sky, and Clerks are a few of my favorites. Book wise I like reading about philosophy/evolution from time to time, I like Stephen King for fiction but have been expanding recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once did a week long solo bicycle trip from my home in New Jersey to Washington DC and back. It was about 450 miles and I camped wherever I ended up after a day of riding. Nothing all that special and one day I hope to top that with a more ambitious ride! Seeing the Grand Canyon, Pacific Coastal Highway, and Colorado Mountains are easily the greatest things I've seen! I've also did a 49 day solo road trip across the US this last fall where I stayed with around 8 CS host, among others, now THAT was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy talking about life, travel, philosophy, football, whatever! I'm also a videographer with a lot of knowledge of shooting/editing footage. I can play a little guitar (just open chords, but I can jam a bit!) and I also play a bunch of tennis and cycle. If you ever want to go on a bike ride or hit around let me know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of smiles and good stories!
