Before I was also a teacher of physics. But now, back in Amsterdam after travelling for two years with my accordion, playing the streets of many countries, I try to continue my life with only making music.

If you have some time (you probably don't, because you have a full time job sending couch requests ;) listen to my music and let that introduce me!

Ingredients in my life right now:
* enjoying the beauty of Amsterdam,
* settle down a bit to let my music ripen. (Yes I miss being on the road)
* playing the piano (I only have a digital one now, but I know some places where there are public ones)
* playing the accordion
* playing on the streets
* collecting ideas to a thousand songs
* using my 'museumjaarkaart' to visit all musea in Amsterdam
* eating with friends
* singing
* watching movies
* longing for sunshine and summer
* wild camping
* hitch hiking
* getting outside (I miss nature now I live in the city, but luckily I can see the sky from my window)
* singing some more
* finding quiet spots
* cooking with vegetables I've never eaten before
* watching movies
* endlessly reshaping my daily routine (can you even speak of a routine if it's being reshaped forever?)
* Letting the wind carry me to the next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience with the couchsurfing community: teaching Dutch to struggling foreigners through a Dutch lessons group. After that I hosted a bit in Utrecht and then, mostly together with my travelling accordion, surfed with so many many nice nice people.

Since 2017 I have a small loft/room/whateveryouwanttocallit in Amsterdam now I'm hosting again too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Best movie: Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. I've recently seen it again on television, and it was once again confirmed. This movie is great.

I wrote the above years ago. I still agree. Now I have a 'Cineville' card, which means I can go to see all the arthouse movies I want. And I do see lots of them now. So join me if you please!

I love you to recommend me new songs to play on the streets, anyway I'd love to take some time to listen to the music you like, when you come to my place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving up my job and house and making a dream come true: to travel with my accordion, playing on the streets of France, Spain, Morocco, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia & Canada, wildcamping and hitchhiking feeling on top of the world, in contact with both people and nature.
