ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old and just finishing up my Master's Degree in southern Louisiana. I grew up in the mountains, and prefer it to any of this flat-land. I'm Straight Edge and Christian. I love meeting new people, even if it is intimidating, because everyone became who they are over a different path, and everyone has something to offer because of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Interests

I love music and movies and nature and culture. I play bass and ride a motorcycle and research bacteria.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From an aesthetic standpoint, standing at the top of Victoria Falls was the best thing I've seen.

From a personal standpoint, seeing an elderly woman hand me a homemade cookie after the shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007. She said she wanted to help in some way, so she baked cookies all day to give to students. It was the most beautiful gesture I've ever seen.
