I am Jaemyun

I met many nice people through couchsurfing. They made my trip really special and joyful. I really wanted to give what I got from them one day. But I didn't have really chance because I didn't have my own flat. Now I am living together with gf. We are Korean&American couple. She agreed on hosting people in couchsurfing. So we are going to try hosting people!

Well, our place is pretty small. There is just one room and one toilet. So, you need to sleep next to us on a couch(a couch which transforms to a bed). Furthermore, we have two cats. So you need to sleep together with two cats too. I think finding host in couchsurfing is not to save your money, but to feel how people live in their country. My place wouldn't be very comfortable because room is pretty small and cats can wake you up in the early morning. But we hope we can help you experience Korea.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I decided to go on a trip alone first time in 2011. I don't remember how I found couchsurfing in the first place. By the end of my trip, I really thought it was good idea to stay in CS host's places. I travelled in Tokyo, Copenhagen, Berlin and Belgium and met 5 CS hosts during my trips. They were all friendly and great. I could make lots of memories thanks to them.

I went on a trip alone again in 2015. This time I travelled in Thailand. I had really good memories with CS in my first solo trip. I decided to meet CS people again in Thailand. I met three hosts and one couchsurfer only to hang out. It didn't disappoint me. It was really nice to meet and hang out with them.

In 2018, I decided to go to Vietnam to meet friend. Main reason to go Vietnam was to meet friend. But I had several days to travel around alone. This time I met one host and one couchsurfer only to hang out. They were really great and luckily I met many different people through them. I had really great time with them.

Without people I met on my trip, my trip would be pretty dry and just visiting to sightseeing. By interacting with people who really live in the country, I could be inspired by them, could be joyful and could learn different cultures.
