ABOUT ME

Hey! My name's Jason.

Like everyone on this site, I love travelling. I've done an exchange semester in Denmark, and I worked in Canada for a short while but there are still many other places I hope to visit.

I've studied journalism and law. Working in law at the moment and am happy to see where it takes me.

My interests are snowboarding (but I'm not very good), playing guitar, collecting books, writing, comedy, film, and whatever else happens to take my fancy.

I've only couchsurfed once (when I had nowhere to stay in Canada) and I really enjoyed the experience. A stranger's kindness is always uplifting so I'd love to repay the favour.

I'm also happy to help people with their English. If you're French, I'd love to practice my French with you, too!

Comme tout le monde sur ce site, j'aime voyager. J'ai fait un semestre d'échange au Danemark, et j'ai travaillé au Canada pendant une courte période mais il ya encore beaucoup d'autres endroits que j'espère à visiter.

J'ai étudié le journalisme et la loi. Au present, je travail en droit et je suis heureux de voir où cela me mènera.

Mes intérêts sont le snowboard (mais je ne suis pas très bon), jouer de la guitare, la collecte de livres, l'écriture, la comédie, le cinéma, et tout ce qui se passe de prendre ma fantaisie.

J'ai seulement couchsurfed une fois (quand je n'avais nulle part où rester au Canada) et j'ai vraiment apprécié l'expérience. La bonté d'un étranger est toujours édifiante si je serais ravi de rendre la pareille.

Je suis également heureux d'aider les gens avec leur anglais. Si vous êtes français, je serais ravi de pratiquer mon français avec vous, aussi!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently not living in a great location for people visiting Brisbane but I'm moving soon.

I'm often hanging out with travellers/exchange students though and am more than happy to show you around and take you on day trips to the beach etc...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only ever couch surfed once. A friend and I were Canada and had absolutely nowhere to stay.

The hostels were all booked, it was freezing cold and light was fading fast.

If it weren't for this site and the kindness of one of its members, I would never have made a good friend and would probably have spent an unpleasant night on the streets!

Probably my yearlong round the world trip from '09 - '10.

I went across the U.S. and then lived on a ski slope in Canada for three months and finished with an exchange semester in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I think I'm alright at teaching English and I'm an intermediate guitar player. I played saxophone for a while too.

I could teach French to a beginner.

I'd love to learn practical skills like fixing cars and cooking etc...

I'd also like to learn boxing and martial arts and piano.
