ABOUT ME

I work as a programmer in Orion Health in Auckland. I used to live in Poznań in Poland where I studied (graduated with PhD) and worked. In the beginning of 2015 we have moved to Auckland in New Zealand. I love travelling, therefore we moved to other part of the world to learn new people and see new places. Moreover, I love drinking good wine, cooking and sharing time with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a chance to use a couch in London. It was great experience which let me know fantastic people, spent fabulous time and see the city from different perspective.

Interests

Mostly wine - it has become my passion over 5 years ago and now I try to learn about it. Wine has so much to say, not only the aromas and tastes (which of course are important) but also the stories about the terroir, the people who made it, the weather, etc.

Besides I love sports. I compete in triathlon races and currently I prepare for 70.3. Ironman.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz and rock music with my favorite band Dave Matthews Band. Recently I've been listening to the Black Keys (I love their blues feeling), Architecture of Helsinky, Beirut, and many many more.

Movies - all the classics and old movies from 50s and 60's. Oh...and Woody Allen's movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a volunteer for few years and taking care of children in the poor part of the city I grew up in.
