ABOUT ME
I graduated from college with a degree in French a year ago, and am now living in France as an English teaching assistant. It’s not quite what I expected, but I absolutely adore my class of secondes! I plan to become a doctor in the future and like learning about healthcare, disparities, and anything else that’ll make me a better physician.
I love playing piano and baking, and can be (according to some) embarrassing to be with when there’s a dog around. I adore spring – seeing all the new growth and the flowers starting to put splashes of color back into the landscape is so invigorating!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went to a cooking class organized by another couchsurfer and it was a blast! I met some great people, learned a little, ate a lot, and laughed even more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surgeries! Seriously the most fascinating thing I've ever seen. I think I stood there for 4-5 hours straight without even realizing how much time had passed and that my feet were killing me.
Bonded with an old Portugese man on an isolated beach in Lagos, despite my not speaking any Portugese/his not speaking any English. He found and gave me tiny, tiny shells to bring back with me. It was a heartwarming moment.
Got a class of secondes who don't even like to speak to sing Christmas songs in English with me. Interesting? Maybe not. Amazing? Definitely.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, Korean, and French, how to fold paper into interesting shapes, knitting basics, and piano for beginners.
I'd like to learn Spanish, cello, more piano, and how to drive stick shift.
