Overview
About Me
Lover of outdoor activity with multi-cultural interests. I may be on my way to becoming a Hippie.
I have a great little home in Portland, OR and open to share the fabled experience you may have heard about "Portlandia". I'm close access to parks, public transportation and especially the North Portland Bike Super-highway. I'd enjoy to host you especially if you're a passionate, interesting and well-organized, tidy traveler and understand the importance of environmental mindfulness and conservation.
As a couchsurfer: I love to learn about others and connect on their travel and life experiences and would respect and appreciate a place in your home in my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet other interesting travelers to keep inspiring where I might go next and share any useful knowledge or assistance I can offer.
I'm greedy to meet wonderful travelers and be a traveler. Hosting to pay it forward with hopes to be hosted. I believe in the "Sharing" economy whenever possible. Banking on good karma.
Interests
Running, hiking, camping. Meeting people and sharing ideas.
Cooking and eating. Wine, craft beer and good coffee.
Health and well-being.
I like gardening but feel more motivated when I have help.

Oldies - Fleetwood Mac, ELO, U2, The Pretenders (and these people are still rockin'!)
Books - Anything by David Sedaris and similar such humor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I seem to be building a Riding Repertoire...
~ Camel across the desert in Jaisalmer, India
~ Elephant, in the ocean, Gulf of Thailand, Koh Chang Island
~ Scooter up a mountainous 246km with 1864 turns from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son, Thailand.
Live to tell!
Teach, Learn, Share
I understand and can tell you about Thai food.
I can even cook a bit of it. If given enough time, I can make you a nice meal.
Would love to learn about food from your part of the world.
I can speak and read a bit of Thai. My fluency is about 80%. I was born in Thailand but raised in the US. Most recent trip back to visit family was Dec-Jan 2014.
When I'm available to host, I love playing tour guide, or able to give suggestions. I've been in Portland a long time now, a transplant from southern California. Both great places with a diversity of landscape, culture and outdoor activity. The West seems Best.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I understand and can tell you about Thai food.
If given enough time and the right ingredients, maybe I can make you a nice meal. I'm clean and tidy. Worked in many fields and enough college credit in courses that I'm capable of a well-rounded array of conversation.
Photos and discuss my travel experiences.
