I've lived in Ukraine since September of 2010. I teach English at a secondary school near Lviv. I really like playing my accordion, but I wish I could somehow play the tuba here.

Good music, food, and friends. I love language and comparing words in different languages. Right now I am reading Lesya Ukrainka and practicing the accordion in my free time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing with the orchestra during Victory Day in my host town. It was amazing to share intense emotions and feelings with people that I didn't know very well. Also visiting my family in Tehran for the first time when I could actually speak to them. We said so many things that just weren't possible before.
