ABOUT ME

I am from Maine and went to school in upstate New York. Since then, I've been pretty mobile, and have lived in many different places. I like moving around, meeting new people, and getting book and music recommendations.

Update: I currently am living in Brooklyn, but am getting ready to move to the Philippines for a few months come February. (I cannot wait to learn all the PBA teams and players).

PHILOSOPHY

It's personal.

(But I'm sure it has something to do with seeing as much as I can before I die, because I'm living in an age where I can travel to anywhere in the world, still have access to my bank account, still have my music in my pocket, and a good amount of the time somebody will speak my language. Not that I want all of those things all the time, but I can have them if I want. How lucky is that?)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed a few times, but mostly I have met people on couchsurfing, including roommates in the states and language exchange partners in Colombia. I have had nothing but great experiences through this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and surfed. Both have gone great.

Interests

Traveling, reading, writing, comedy, music, hiking, drinking, talking, listening, basketball. Getting people to laugh. Learning is the big one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a Guttenberg bible a few months ago. That was pretty cool. The Maine coast always leaves me feeling pretty awed.
