About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to travel much and to connect with other fellow travelers
ABOUT ME
People have said that I'm generally easygoing and diplomatic, but that I can also at times be very indecisive.
PHILOSOPHY
The people we meet and interact with shape who we are; this idea can go further to apply to our relationship(s) with our natural surroundings.

Interests
I enjoy being outdoors - either in the city or in the wilds. When outside, I like to walk and cycle. Both urban and natural landscapes can be inspiring for me. Academically, I am into languages, and I would perhaps like to have a career involving linguistics in some way. Also, I like finding new music to enjoy. Most of my musical activity these days centers around listening. I used to play drumset quite often. There's very little of that going on these days, but let me know if you're in the area and want to jam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One evening when I was in Stockholm, I followed a large, spirited group of football hooligans who were marching their way to the nearby stadium in Sodermalm. They were blowing off ear-piercing firecrackers, belting out roaring chants and carrying bright flaming torches. Such a sight might not be so unusual and exciting for some Europeans, but it certainly was for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Bear Grylls from 'Man vs. Wild' states that: if you are outside and without a proper orientation tool, you can utilize your watch as as a compass. If you are in the N. hemisphere, you can do this by first pointing the hour hand directly at the sun, and then locating the half-way point between the hour hand and the 12. This half-way point is approx. South. If in the S. hemisphere, this point would obviously be North
