ABOUT ME

I am a teacher by day, Mon.- Fri. early to bed early to rise, (with some exceptions) but I also get a lot of time off of work. When I'm not working I like to swing or salsa dance, hang out with friends, and travel.

That's all for now. Maybe I'll add more later.

PHILOSOPHY

I pretty much live by the golden rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. I try to be considerate and respectful of others. I'm a good person and a good friend. I would do almost anything for my good friends and family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and most recently surfed a bit in Washington DC, Philadelphia and Boston. I've met some really great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people now and have had really good experiences. I also attend the local events in Long Beach and Orange county. Both are fun groups!

Interesses

Dancing, working out, going to theater, dining out, and of course, traveling!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

There aren't too many new movies that I really like, though I do enjoy the Harry Potter movies, as well as the books. I love the movie The Princess Bride, and classics like Stripes & Caddyshack. I love the old musicals like Singin' in the Rain, Guys & Dolls, and Brigadoon. And I could always watch To Kill a Mockingbird.
Music: I like a variety, from old swing music, 50's rock 'n roll, classic rock to current top 40's like Katy Perry, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga...
Books: classics like Cyrano de Bergerac, To Kill a Mockingbird, to more modern stuff like the Harry Potter series and most things by Mary Higgins Clark.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I have participated in a flash mob that was filmed for a tv show. Last year I took a cruise that only went to one port and then had to charter planes and fly everyone out because the ship was broken. The first view of the Grand Canyon was quite awesome. You just can't appreciate it until you are actually there seeing how vast it really is.
I have also been to Disney's Club 33 twice, and several visits to the Magic Castle in Hollywood.

I'm a teacher, so I can teach you anything I know! I can teach you how to swing dance, and salsa dance. I am not a great expert cook, but I know a few good dishes and can also make yummy chocolate chocolate chip brownies.
