About Me

CURRENT MISSION

making people smile :)

ABOUT ME

My best friends would say that while I seem reserved and cool, looks can be deceiving. Once you crack my shell, I am highly energetic and full of useless knowledge that I will share constantly, without request.

PHILOSOPHY

The secret to being happy is just to be :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I have couchsurfed before, I mainly host now because I have a job and am pursuing a post-baccalaureate that keeps me rooted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I am not able to travel as much as I would prefer, hosting gives me the chance to welcome people from all over the place into my home and with them, they always bring a piece of where they are from. I get to experience the best of the world from the comfort of my own city!

Interests

I am a crafts nerd so anything handmade or imaginative really grabs my attention. Also, over the past couple of years, I have become somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. I love anything that will make my heart race. I spend a lot of time running and keeping my heart rate elevated. If I am not running or riding my bike or dancing around like a fool, I am doing the complete opposite, usually with my nose in a book. I enjoy traveling, usually to hear live music, but also just being on the road with the wind in my hair makes me feel at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being out in the middle of the desert in Huacachina, Peru was a really cool experience. I could see nothing but mountains of sand and sky above me. It was one of the only times in my life where I have been surrounded by complete nature, nothing man-made. Also, jumping out of a plane on my first adventure skydiving was pretty amazing. Seeing a bird's eye view and feeling like a bird are the most awesome feelings in the world for me.
