About Me
Hello everyone. I'm on a cycling trip from France to India. I share this journey with my life partner, Marie. Very excited to encounter kind and open people on the way. If you want to meet, please let us know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new friends. And for the insight you get with the local people's guidance
Interests
I love being outside and in recent years I managed to spend my life mostly outdoors: working in fields and orchards, hiking mountains and deserts, kayaking through my adopted country France, volunteering in gardens around the Mediterranean always eyeing the next adventure.
Recently I got into cycling, I built my bike and now I'm on an expedition to South Asia.
*****
Few words about why I think cycling is a GREAT way to travel:
- You see so much more. Everything between your travel destinations is explored. Often these un-touristic places are where the authentic experiences and exchanges occur;
- You feel the distance you cover. It's convenient to take a bus or fly but to do it by the virtue of your own muscles allows you to appreciate the effort to travel through a changing terrain, bringing a sense of achievement;
- You are independent. No more waiting for a bus or cars going your way. You go where you want (including places not frequented by public transport and cars), when you want, which is the closest thing to freedom you'll ever experience traveling;
- All this while having no negative environmental impact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Bedouins thought I'm crazy to hike solo across the Jordanian desert. Martian-like landscapes, no tent, digging in the sand for water, dust storms and wild camels - what memories!
