My name is Jac (Jacinta) and I'm a keen traveller who loves meeting new people from all over the place!
I found my love for travel when I was 18 after leaving school and have been roaming the globe for the last 14 years.
I have also lived abroad in Barcelona, Berlin, Guadalajara, and Bogota.
I hope to meet you, hear your stories, and get comfy on your couch :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couchsurfing because it is a great way to meet local people and see places you may not find on the typical tourist trail.
I have previously couchsurfed in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, India, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Equador, and The United States and have only had positive experiences.
I have also hosted in Germany and Barcelona.

Interests

Travelling, surfing, camping, writing, music, partying, scrambling through piles at flea markets, trying all sorts of food, meeting new people..

I work in Mental Health and also own a vintage clothing shop back in Australia.

- 10 day silent meditation retreats in India and Mexico
- Skydiving in Austria and bungy jumping in Australia
and Colombia
- Seeing the Solar Eclipse at Eclipse festival in Cairns, Australia
and also in Oregon, USA this year
- Hitch hiking down Baja California, Mexico
- Visiting the Amazon in Colombia, Brazil and Peru
- Reaching the most northern point of South America (Punta Gallinas)
- Travelling around the world for 2 years solo
