I love Alaska. That's a biggie. Love smart, kind, caring, joyful people. Love ideas -- and executing ideas that can effect positive change in ways big, small, or subtle. Love travel, finding forgotten, characterful corners of the world. I've developed a habit (good or bad?) for mochas, and harbor deep appreciation for a rich, complex, steaming hot mocha -- which is perhaps a front for my even more abiding love affair with chocolate. My work (politics, public policy, effecting broad and positive change) is also really, really important to me.

I got to know Casey Fenton when we were working on a project together and he lived in Anchorage (Alaska) way back in 2004, just when he was starting this website. I signed up to help out.
