My name's Jen. I'm none too good at describing myself. I'm pretty laid back, a bit goofy. I love music, movies, spinning fire, and exploring. I like dive bars, coffee shops and other cozy types of places. I have PADI Open Water SCUBA certification. I like to ski. I'm taking up curling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I kind of just stumbled upon this website. It's an awesome concept. I was trying to find out if people spin fire (poi) in Reykjavik and, apparently, the answer is yes, yes they do. I'm currently living with my boyfriend and his parents, so unfortunately I don't have a couch for you, but I will gladly meet for coffee or a drink, show people around, and whenever I have my own place, my couch will be available.

None whatsoever. Sounds fun, though.

Interests

Travel, SCUBA diving, skydiving, skiing, swimming, hiking, lying on the beach, going out to comfy bars for decent beers, nice, cozy restaurants, my Nintendo Wii. I'm also a volunteer EMT. There are many others - I have a tendency to get really, really interested in things for short periods of time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love ALL kinds of music - rock, jazz, metal, some rap, even a country song here and there! I guess the artists I listen to most often would include Tool, Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Beck, Bjork, Jamiroquai, Cake, the Deftones, and the Beta Band.
