COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great experiences so far! It's been great meeting such a variety of new people in such a short time while traveling. I really look forward to see who else I meet while traveling and through CouchSurfing! :-)
Interests
Photography, reading on a rainy day, writing, hiking, yoga, dancing, saunas, being outside, volleyball, camping, traveling, coffee shops, cooking, learning as much as I can about different cultures. I love learning about each country's history and economic and social evolution -- there's just so much to learn and gain through that!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: When my music is on shuffle you never know what you might get. I love the Goo Goo Dolls, Johnny Cash, Lady Gaga, My Chemical Romance, old 80s rock music, country, etc. etc. I'm pretty open minded and always up to try something new. Since I've been living in Korea, I even listen to K-Pop now and even have dabbed into J-Pop a bit.
Books: I mostly enjoy reading any area or topic that I'm interested to learn more about at the moment. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to reading psychology-related books.
As far as fiction goes: The Time Traveler's Wife, Twilight Series, What Dreams May Come, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Nicholas Sparks, etc. Basically anything that either makes me think philosophically or just keeps me emotionally hooked.
Movies: My favorites are anything that makes me laugh, think, or just feel any deeper message or connection behind the story line. A few favorites: Amelie, Where the Heart Is, The Blind Side, American Beauty, The Butterfly Effect, Eurotrip (who doesn't like this?), etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Awestruck"? Mmm... that only comes by once in the blue moon. The first was definitely Catherine the Great's Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. The architecture was absolutely amazing! The only other I can think of is back in high school when I went to Washington DC and could see the Washington Memorial in the same view that Marin Luther King Jr had the day he gave the "I Have a Dream" Speech.
Countries I’ve Visited
