Overview
About Me
Architect; amateur foodie opening my house as a 'restaurant' during the weekends; wine enthusiast (perhaps a bit too much), avid motorcycle fan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
started out when I met two girls form the netherlands who ended up staying at my place... next week one of them returned with another friend... two weeks after that the third friend came back with a fourth friend... finally the fourth friend told me I was a good host and should consider couchsurfing (couch what? I thought..) and that´s how I got started...
Interests
everything related to design, industrial design, architecture, art,... then motorcycles, finally anything related to europe and south america.... but the list of interest grows...
Cooking, but specially sharing the cooking process is one of the best things I like to do to get to know people... I think it brings out a very interesting aspect of those willing to participate in the process
Philosophy in general,... a good conversation (on anything) will definitely spark my interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
it amazes me just how perfect it is to receive like minded people in your home,... because it is like constantly travelling just by sharing their recent experiences...
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything and anything design related I can talk to you about,... but being an amateur foodie myself, I tend to have a lot of friends who like to cook and know how to,..
If we get along, expect a relaxed evening usually involving wine, music, friends, cooking (and more wine)... Please do not expect a tour guide as there are people far better qualified for that than me....! (although I might be coaxed into a trip on motorcycle... a good ride through the countryside is usually an experience...!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not good as a tour guide, do not appreciate overnight stays just to gear up to a volcano climb (perhaps you would do better at a hostel).
But can share cooking, can share good times with local friends and good conversations...
