About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Sympathy is no substitute for action."
ABOUT ME
I work in professional development for a not for profit organization that does amazing work for some very special children. I love to travel, to learn new things and to participate in almost any cultural endeavor (even when it seems completely unappealing). I intend to expand our horizons and hope to help others do the same.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to the best of my ability because we are all linked. Good actions, I believe, travel on the wind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Providing food, shelter and a safe place to stay as we all explore the planet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only one CouchSurfing experience thus far. So far so good! Keep 'em coming!
Interests
Reading, Writing (no, not arithmetic), biking, the outdoors, walking aimlessly, walking with purpose, the wind in my hair, some sort of vegetation, soil or sand between my toes and adventure (healthy and safe, not bizarre and dangerous).
Music, Movies, and Books
Far too many to list here
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everyday is amazing...let's share our experiences! My most recent amazing experience was volunteer work in a very poor region of the Dominican Republic with the Community Service Alliance. I thrive on experiences that open my eyes, blow my mind, and expand my capacity for compassion.
