ABOUT ME

I have lived in some weird and wacky situations over the past few years as a way of cutting down costs so that I could pursue my studies abroad. Most of my living situations have involved living situation of the "communal" variety - for example, I lived and worked in a youth hostel for almost 4 years. Right now I am in Paris doing my post-doc in philosophy, but I doubt I am trying my utmost to avoid becoming a professor... I also work as an artist in a somewhat crazy atelier/ commune on the outskirts of Paris, so luckily my life seems to be heading in a more bohemian direction! :)

I have hosted many people on my couch in Paris and other places I have lived, but not through the couch-surfing network. Some of my flatmates in Scotland used to host couch-surfers from this site, and we were all involved in helping and entertaining the guests, so I guess I've been involved in a roundabout way...
