ABOUT ME
Hi! I spent a few years bouncing around the Rocky Mountains before moving to Spain to teach English and travel for 2 years. I've worked a bunch of fun jobs like trail crew and riparian restoration and am currently in grad school for Environmental Science and Policy. I enjoy beer, food, coffee,disc golf, backpacking, and people with interesting stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing was recommended to me by a couple I met in a treehouse in Nicaragua. I registered in late 2011 or 2012 but never did much with it since I tend to move a lot for work and don't always have internet. I always enjoy having friends crash so this is a great way to meet new people

Interests

Mountains! Travel, being outside, backpacking, hiking, camping, trying to learn to fly fish, sustainability. Meeting new people, drinking beer and coffee and learning spanish. I really enjoy drinking coffee on a front porch or balcony and watching the day begin.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots. The Milagro Beanfield War. High Country News. Christopher Moore, John Steinbeck, Orwell. Books about sustainability, conservation, travel, historical fiction. Star Wars will always be my favorite movies but I usually watch comedies or documentaries. Or anything with Federico Luppi. I usually listen to John Prine, Yo La Tengo, The Band, Dr. John, Dr. Dog and others.
