About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am focusing on making my life happier. You can think it is selfish but I am pretty convinced that is the way I will make the other's life happier too.

ABOUT ME

It is pretty difficult to describ myself. Some would say that I am shy. Others would say that I am calm. Some would say I am funny and smiling all the time. Others would say that I am bad and angry.
Actually, I am all of this in the same time. Depends of the mood. I dare say that it is the case of most of the people.
What I believe I am? I am a guy who don't judge anyone on what he likes or what he doesn't like, on what he is or what he is not. I respect people thoughts and I think it is what my friends like in me.

PHILOSOPHY

Try, move and try again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host when I was in Paris but now I'm in a colocation so I can't host anymore. However, I can hang out to visit the city or take a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already hosted many times in Paris and I really enjoyed it. I was pleased to make people comfortable with my own capabiblities. I liked going out with my guests, talking about anything, important or not.I also fell tired of it. I couldn't enjoy people properly anymore and I felt uncomfortable for missing interesting people so I decided to quit for a while. Now, I miss of meeting people again and I decided to try it again. I wish I can stabilize my inner self to welcome people one more time.I definitely enjoyed my hosts the most when I traveled with CS. And I wish I were enjoyed by my guests a little bit like that as well.

Interests

I spent a lot of time with my friends.
I love dancing too. They used to say I'm a good dancer but I think I am just a guy who likes to move his body on all kind of music. I used to dance rock and I am learning salsa at present. I have also learnt some typical dance from my home region.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Science-Fiction and fantasy. "Dune" of Frank Herbert, "La citadelle de l'ombre" of Robin Hobb. Time to times, I like to try new kind of books: "Master & Commander" of Patrick O'Brian, "Shanghai Baby" of Weihui, "A Monk Swimming" of Malachy McCourt. Actually, I like to have my own experiences so I don't like to read or see the "classicals" because they "HAVE TO" be read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Johannesburg for my work so I went to a Safari with some colleagues of mine during a week-end. We finally reached the elephant area while there were crossing the road just in front of our car. Suddenly, the elephant Matriarch charged us followed by three fellow elephants. I took some time to realise what was going on when I heared the driver yelling : OH MY GOD, THEY'LL SMASH US ! and he drove in reverse engine as fast as he could. Fortunately, they stopped before us so nothing bad happened...
But, I still have a sense of irreality of this scene.
