About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get out and travel and meet as many new and interesting people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back, friendly guy who loves meeting new people and learning new perspectives on the world. I really enjoy meeting honest and thoughtful people who say what they mean, even if it may not be the popular point of view. I went to college, but don't know if I want to use my education or not. Traveling is one of the ways I want to figure it out. I want to experience the world first hand and meet as many people along the way as I can. I'm in to doing anything outdoors and staying active and welcome any new experience with open arms. I'm also in to playing and listening to all kinds of music and playing most sports. I also enjoy cooking and learning new recipes if you have something to show me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be excellent to each other and try to have as much fun along the way as possible

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf a lot and will begin hosting very soon. In the last few years, I took an 8 month wwoofing and couchsurfing trip around the U.S. and then spent 6 months in New Zealand doing the same. Last year I spent another long stint traveling and surfing in Asia and Europe. It has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I also got to meet many, many great and amazing people. I've recently moved to Haarlem, Netherlands with my girlfriend and we look forward to hosting surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been a great experience for me. I've done it many times and have had nothing but awesome experiences. The best place I've stayed was a converted warehouse in Baltimore. Really cool. I've had people take me in last minute, save me when I'm stranded or my plans fall through, and welcome me in to their lives and homes like I was an old friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Japan has to be the most interesting place that I've been so far just for the fact that it is so alien from my own surroundings. I've also got to say that WWOOFing and traveling the country has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to talk about your travels and anything you have a passion for. I really enjoying seeing and experiencing how other people live their lives and learning from it. I can tell you all about my experiences so far as well.
