ABOUT ME

After graduating Oberlin, I moved to New York where I started a small theater company and created new plays collaboratively for four years. Just this year I moved to Paris to study at the Lecoq school for theater. I'm still getting to know this place and make friends.

PHILOSOPHY

VLADIMIR: (gloomily). It's too much for one man. (Pause. Cheerfully.) On the other hand what's the good of losing heart now, that's what I say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just got set up with a small apartment in Paris, and I'm happy to put someone up for a few nights if I'm free. I'm also interested in traveling around Europe during my breaks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None - but my friends have been raving about it for years.

Zainteresowania

Hiking, caving, ping-pong, board games, making food and/or playing music with other people. Science! Theater, puppetry, swing dance, museums. Challenge. Change. Questions: Why do we laugh? Why is the universe the way it is? Why do we love stories so much?

Books: I need to read more books! But. I love the russians: Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Gogol. Also Kafka, Italo Calvino, Stanislaw Lem and Kurt Vonnegut. And the Hitchhiker's guide of course.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

When I was a counselor at a summer camp in Vermont I spent a night in a very deep cave with 9 awesome campers and 2 amazing co-counselors. Several of us had dreams that we woke up and there was light in the cave. But of course the cave is pitch black at all times.

I can teach puppetry and beginner guitar. I'm always interested in learning more guitar, dance, and a chance to practice french some more.
