ABOUT ME

Yehudah Winter and I are an older couple enjoying our life together in Portland town. We have an organic garden, one cat, fabulous flower gardens. We live in a large house with a guest room that is available for travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have couchsurfed in Central America, East Africa and Indonesia with wonderful people plus we have hosted at our home in Portland, Oregon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

been a member of Hospitality Exchange - have stayed with folks in Florida and Albuquerque, New Mexico - good experiences. We have met exceptional people through couchsurfing and just love the whole style of being in relationship.
We stayed with a great family in Ocotal, Nicaragua; a deeply spiritual man in Honduras; shared a meal with a young fellow in Copan Ruinas. Everyone has been just so helpful, interesting, warm and loving.

In East Africa we couchsurfed with several wonderful people - in Kenya and especially in Dar es Salam. Somehow we didn't connect to write anything about each other - might be on Yehudah Winter's own page. Take a look!

We just finished traveling in Indonesia and Malaysia, couch surfed with 2 wonderful families in northern Bali. Couchsurfers just are always exceptional people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt. Shasta in my 20s without crampons during a summer when there was a drought. Most recently climbed Mt. Ijen to see the Blue Fire!
