Overview
About Me
Experiencing ever-changing values. But overall, I believe sincerity in communication is peace, and when basic needs are met there is happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I used to host folks when I was living in Cholula, Mexico, a hub for parties for the college-aged students. And also, occasionally did some Airbnb when I traveled and left the apartment with my confidant roomie. Since coming out of the pandemic, I haven't been able to host due to a parent in hospice and needing for hands-on attention.
WHY I DO IT:
Interests
Trying to reconnect with art, performing and performing communities despite the dynamic of generating money.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped sustain a Mexican brand of artisanal jewelry in the pandemic, which by extension helped maintain production and employment of several artisan families push their cultural heritage during a time of economic turmoil.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interest in themes and discussions of performativity, the human perception under modernity, without delving too deep into politics. Stories of world-wide adventures, and less-planned strolls through the city at the host's guide and discretion.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahamas, Belgium, Cayman Islands, China, Germany, Ireland, Saint Martin (French part), Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Sweden
Countries I’ve Lived In
Canada, France, Mexico, Philippines, Spain, United States
