About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eastern Europe summer 2011
ABOUT ME
I've been living in Busan, Korea since 2009, working at an international school. I teach world history and mass media classes. Will soon be teaching geography. I've traveled a decent amount in Asia, now I'm going further from here on my next travels. The plan is to stay in Busan for another school year or two, then move on to another international school on another continent. The expat life is a good life.
PHILOSOPHY
Live the dream
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined couchsurfing in 2011 to meet people and explore cities on my Eastern Europe summer 2011 backpacking trip. I am fascinated with meeting other world travelers, and enjoy showing them around town. It's great making new friends when they come to my city, or when I go to other countries.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few of my good friends here in Korea have hosted many couchsurfers, and I've had a ton of fun with the people that have come through Busan.
Interests
Travel, reading, collecting music, seeing live music, politics, exercise, movies, documentaries, the internet, journalism (radio and music writing), hiking, camping, riding my scooter, hanging out at the beach, being social, joking and laughing. I also put a lot of time into my job, which means learning more and more about history and the media, and developing my teaching skills.

Music, Movies, and Books
Nonfiction books. Documentary, comedy, and critically acclaimed movies. Most genres of music besides top 40 or new country, music is my passion. I love analyzing the media.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Influence kids to go to college and university. Got out of small town America and moved and lived in another country. Beginning to see the world now.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach teenagers everyday about globalization and open-mindedness. Let's talk about it when we meet up.
