I can only give city tours, since my living situation doesn't allow me to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many positive couchsurfing experiences, but they've all been meetups related, I haven't actually couchsurfed or hosted yet. I hope to change that situation as soon as possible though!

I'm quite interested in travel, which is why I'm on this site! I endeavor to improve my knowledge of French, and FINALLY learn some Spanish. I'd like to learn German as well. As far as literature goes, I always loved things like Alexandre Dumas as a child, but more recently I've been reading more Science Fiction books like Jules Verne. Italo Calvino is also an amazing author. Beat literature is also equally amazing.

Hmm... I covered this some in interests as far as authors are concerned, but I'll always love classic Rock n' Roll and Blues like the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Animals, John Loe Hooker, and Bob Dylan. Recently I've listened to RJD2 a lot as well, it's funky. Some movies I like? Micmacs, A bout de souffle, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Blues Brothers, Blade Runner, In Bruges and Pulp Fiction. This is by no means a comprehensive list, just me rambling!

I speak french, and am a native english speaker so I can help with either of those. I was an undergraduate history major, with a focus in european history, so that subject interests me immensely. I'm also incredibly interested in Astronomy, but am not terribly good at physics :(
