ABOUT ME

I am a fun person enjoying my time on this planet. I didn't travel until I was 20, and then I started traveling as much as I could manage.

I lived in and loved Taiwan between college and law school.

I am not a working lawyer in New York City.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by a Kantian categorical imperative. I believe rationality should guide all ethics, and I try to live by that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few couches and it was a great experience, now I would like to pay it back by hosting a few times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a summer semester in Santa Barbara California (an amazing place). I spent the entire summer on a couch surrounded by insanity (I like living with different kinds of people, each with their own changing lives). At one point we consistently had six people living in a single bedroom.

Oddly that was my best semester academically in undergraduate.

Movies and books are pretty numerous. Pulp Fiction tends to be my favorite movie. Favorite book? Probably Great Gatsby or 100 Years of Solitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A random drive in China took me through the heart of farms in Sichuan. I often look back on those four hours in a taxi as one of the most beautiful things I have seen.
