I’m a special education teacher who just finished his last season of college football (I played and taught simultaneously. It was hell). I'm a very chill, laid back person. However, I also have an adventurous side. I perform stand up comedy, so I love a great laugh. I love trying new foods and beer in the cities that I visit.

I'm a huge sports fanatic. I also enjoy going to Karaoke, bars and comedy shows. When I'm staying in, I enjoy movies, TV, listening to/ playing music, games and good talks. I'm very outgoing and I love trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste when it comes to music. I listen to everything with the exception of metal and screamo. Some of my favorite artists include: Amy Winehouse, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, Adele, Bob Marley, Ray LaMontagne and Sinatra. Some of my favorite movies are: The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Dead Poets Society, The Illusionist, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Big Lebowski and Mean Girls. Though it is not a movie, I'm a huge fan of The Office. Shows: House, Sherlock, Black Mirror, Parks and Rec, The League, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Breaking Bad, NCIS, Pretty Little Liars, Blue Mountain State, Big Mouth, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Orange Is The New Black, Better Call Saul, Castle and Impractical Jokers. I definitely need to read more often. However, I am a die-hard Harry Potter fan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my current job falls under this category. I work with kids that have history of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Some have been diagnosed with autism spectrum, bi-polar disorder, detachment disorder and ptsd. Building relationships with them and helping them cope has been very rewarding.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the ukulele, and I always travel with it, so I can teach you how to play a few songs. If you like beer, I will most likely introduce you to a new craft beer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whether it’s having an intellectual conversation, jam sessions or night long laughs, I’m all about having a good time. I have sort of a wine/beer and great conversation tradition with my hosts. I can also put you through a workout or teach you about sports if you’re interested.
