About Me
Dear People,
I am travelling in south east Asia right now! I wish I was packing lighter, but I am travelling with my climbing equipment, so I have a big bag full of rope and gear. I would love to meet you and sleep on your couch and see your home and go climbing with you 😀
I am a student studying environmental science at the university of Waterloo. I love to learn about nature but what I live for is finding new places, pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and to trying new things. Right now I'm very into rock climbing and hiking. I'm a friendly guy and easy to talk to. I take my coffee with maple syrup every morning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people! And I want to stay with people and see local life from local people.
I have been aided by so many strangers and I want to help other people. Couchsurfing is a great way for me to offer my hospitality and get to know people.
Interests
I try to get out hiking as much as I can and when possible, I love to rock climb and ski.
I'm interested in anything to do with the Environment and learning about natural systems.
I am very interested in alternative farming methods/ agricultural technology. I could talk to someone for hours about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music and hearing new music, but probably my favourite artist right now is Amy Winehouse, Vulfpeck and Hazmat Modine.
Trying to watch all the Cohen Brothers movies... so far I've only seen 3 and they're all some of my favourites.
Favourite book is The Ordenda. Currently reading Margaret Atwood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During the summer of 2016, I worked with a researcher who was studying bird behaviour in the desert. Every day, I would wake up a half hour before sunrise so I could find the birds in their roosting tree. It was incredible to stay with the birds for hours, understand their daily routine and have them become comfortable with my presence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have my climbing gear with me, so if you live close to a cliff, I can take you climbing!
I can teach anything I know. Some practical things like cooking, gardening and construction or some less practical things like bird behaviour.
I'm always looking to learn about any kind of art (visual, music, food and whatever else you consider art).
