About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To protect the world from devastation.
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty chill, laid back kind of person. I'm shy around new people at first but I warm up easily. I like animals and hypothetical questions. As a somewhat quiet person I enjoy hanging around talkers who keep up an interesting monologue. I like to draw, and I'm okay; I'm on the lower end of talented artists and the upper end of unpracticed folk.
PHILOSOPHY
You can't help how you feel but you can help what you do. Everything's relative. Don't get too caught up on any one thing. Try to see things from a different perspective. Try your best. Brevity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined CS recently on the recommendation of several friends and my sister. I can't really host people because I have a roommate who isn't into this sort of thing, but I'm down to show people around Frederick (not that there's a whole lot to show) and maybe introduce them to some cool people if I feel it's appropriate. Maybe I'll surf in the future, but for now I'll use it to meet people to show me around places I travel and take it from there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just joined. TBC.
Interests
I'm into doing art. I draw mostly, but I'll occasionally paint. I like oragami, sculpting, I recently bought some wire to try wire sculpture, I'm getting into blowing glass which is ultimately what I'd like to do for a living if I can. Working in a glass store kinda put that fire in me. If there's something artistic to try, I'll do it.
I like nature, I love swimming, I like reading, but if I don't really enjoy a book, I just won't finish it which is a problem sometimes. I like puns and irony. I like trying new things. I like drinking and eating and sleeping. I like the question game when conversations fall quiet (you ask me a question, we both answer; I ask you a question, repeat. Any question). I like video games, but I'm not very good. I've played pokemon (great game, lame show), Zelda OOT, Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damaci. I mostly like to watch people play games (not all games) because I get to see the art and storyline and progression without all that pesky dying. I've immensely enjoyed watching God of War, any Resident Evil game, Dead Space, Mario Galaxy, Zelda Windwaker, and probably a few others I can't recall.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't like these sections. Okay, just a few then, Movies: Studio Gibli stuff, Comedies, Sci-fi/fantasy sometimes, Pixar, some thrillers.
Music: Classic Rock mostly. I don't really actively listen to music, I don't have bands that I follow religiously, most things I like are like one song by these guys, one song over here. Bands that I can claim like for are Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, Beatles, They Might Be Giants, and... that's all I can think of right now...
Books: Harry Potter series (yea I'm a dork if you hadn't guessed by now), His Dark Materials trilogy, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Brave New World, Timbuktu, Clockwork Orange... I'm sure there are more but I'm stopping now.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to draw an awesome looking eye. I can teach you how to make an oragami flower, crane, seahorse or inflatable paper balloon. No cooking here, though I do make a pretty good fried egg. I can also season ramen and add canned vegetables to it. I can crack your upper back (as long as I can pick you up, like up to 200lbs pretty much). I'm also full of useless trivia that I can never remember until I'm reminded of it. Armadillos are the only other animal that can get leprosy.
