Almost the typical quit the job to travel story. Started out in Southern Africa and have mostly stayed on the ground with a few flights as necessary. Trying to listen a lot to learn a little and enjoying myself meanwhile. Hoping to get to China or New Zealand with as few flights as possible.

Been informally couch surfing, friends, friends of friends, etc, for forever, but am new to the website. Tried to join about 100 years ago but struggled with verification, got frustrated and gave up.

Regardless, I've traveled a fair bit and think I'm a pretty good guest.
