About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in a meaningful and productive manner, while helping others
ABOUT ME
I am pretty active and love trying new things! I wouldn't be where I am without my friends and family. My interests are wide-ranging and change relatively quickly (sometimes). Favorite way to describe myself: random and realistically optimistic.I graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor of arts in International Studies: Development and with a double minor in environmental studies and geography.I love to travel and tend to make a habit out if it.I returned back home to Seattle from Senegal the end of last year after completing my Peace Corps service in Kedougou.
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once, and often the most memorable things are not planned. However, try and be safe about it! It's great to plan ahead, but be open to change and opportunities that arise. Further, people are generally good, therefore, treat them as such. If, and only when they prove wrong is it legitimate for anger, although forgive when appropriate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfed in Thailand and Australia and hosted and helped people while living in Senegal.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Bangkok with Priya where I had the best first experience a CS could have :) Made me appreciate the community so much and loved actually participating rather than just being an observer.
Kalume Village, Koh Kradan where I had a getaway to a touch of paradise, even in the rainy season.
Cairns with two amazing Aussie blokes right before heading back to the states :)!
Hosted a cyclist biking around Senegal who made it to my remote village!
