Overview
About Me
Hi. I'm Josselyn. I was Guatemalan once then became traveler. I'm very open minded, respectful, honest, clean, and easy going. I'm on a mission of learning different recipes around the world and meeting as many locals as possible. I'm also trying to learn the basic words in every language... I'm not doing good so far! Haha
I'm pretty silly so you will find me dancing in the subway or running around the city. 😉
I'm currently traveling trough South East Asia.
Any tips will be highly appreciate it! I'd love you for life if you can host me for a few nights or spend quality time wherever I am. I'm more into getting in touch with cultures, going to non touristic places and exploring the beauty of every country.
Also, if you're traveling to Guatemala I'd love to give you some tips. I can show you the city depending where I am. We can meet to hangout and whatsoever. I can host you. Feel free to ask, and I'll give you as much information as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why wouldn't I? CS is the best thing that has ever happened to me! Most of my travel stories start with a couchsurfer!
Interests
I love adventures. I like any outdoor activity. But my favorite is going to roller coasters. 😬
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to pretty much everything. I normally get obsessed with one song or one artist every 2-4 weeks. Right now, I'm obsessed with Kygo and his new album. Ha!
Movies: I love thrillers. Those movies where you don't know what's happening are the best. My favs are Donnie Darko, Shutter Island and The fight club.
Books: I'm reading "the tender bar" right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done bungee, parasailing, canopy, snowboarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn everyyyyything about your culture. How's growing up in your country? How do you see the world? What do you eat? What's your religion? What do you believe?, etc, etc. Your family's recipes! How to introduce myself and how to insult people in your language. I swear I don't insult people at all, but it's good to know just in case someone insults me in other language. Haha
We can share meals, conversations, bad jokes and a couple of drinks maybe! :) I can teach you basic Spanish if you're interested or in case you don't know yet.
I'm into DIY projects, so if you have anything going on, ask for my help.
