ABOUT ME
I have recently returned to University and I am currently doing a semester abroad in Vina del Mar, Chile. I have been here since Feb 2017, enjoying traveling on the weekends and practicing my Spanish. The semester is over at the end of June and Peter will be joining me in Chile to travel around for a month before returning to Canada.

Peter was moving from Victoria to Calgary in Jan 2013 and I was just on another move within the city when we both ended up in the same neighbourhood. We met at the dog park one day in the spring and the rest was history!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to have surfers when we can in Canada. Currently looking for couches in Chile and Argentina.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started couchsurfing when we met a couple of girls that were traveling in Jasper while we were visiting a friend. We chatted for a bit in the parking lot at a trailhead, and they told us that they would soon be passing through Calgary before we went our separate ways. I didn't think of offering them a place at the time, but we left them a note on their van saying to contact us if they needed a place. They ended up staying with us for a couple of nights and they were the ones that actually told us about the couchsurfing community. We thought we better sign up since we were already hosting! :)

Everything! I have trouble picking a passion. I like to do and learn everything that is available. Traveling, hiking, biking, yoga, swimming, hoop, campfires, jogging, gardening, you name it.
