About Me

I would describe myself as an adventurous, inquisitive, passionate, impatient, idealist. I spent much of my childhood traveling with my family, and I can't get enough of it. I love to create, I mainly do photography, but I try to experiment with other outlets and forms as much as possible. I'll take any chance I get to hike, swim, climb, or just be outside!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its how I can learn not to judge or assume, but instead to see and to listen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sufjan Stevens, The Bell Jar, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Winters Bone... Anything with soul. Anything that becomes an embodiment of the human heart, mind and our beauty, our need for each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked Waipio Valley on the big island in Hawaii. At the end of this 3 mile hike down 2000 ft into 'the valley of the kings,' there is this waterfall cascading down the full height of the valley. One could swim into the pool and jump in from the rocks behind it and swim directly under where the water fell. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen, brought me to tears.

Teach, Learn, Share

Connecting and sharing with people from different backgrounds or cultures has become an essential part of how I learn and grow. It helps keep me in check, shows me what I've been missing as an individual, or as a culture. It's a chance to gain a new outlook, a new way of seeing the world, and to give the same in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts
