ABOUT ME

My name is Michael. On sunday morning, I try to drink as many cups of coffee as possible before attempting to do anything. I'm pretty tall but rarely hit my head on door frames. My feet are huge so I'm very well-balanced. I read at a 4th grade level and I have never even thought about speaking Polish. My dad is a viking.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm almost entirely honest. I believe that a man of principles is simply a man who refuses to change his mind regardless of the evidence. I consider people who are unwilling to reevaluate their principles to be weak. Honesty and open-mindedness have gotten me far in life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on the site for a few years now. I've used it to travel in Europe and Asia. I've had nothing but the best experiences so far. I want to pay that forward and provide a safe, fun environment in my new apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a blast staying with Rory in Dublin and with Koichi in Tokyo. Since then, I've hosted a good number of surfers in Boston. I hope to continue to host people all through the summer traveling season.
