About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering the real me..

ABOUT ME

Usually easy to get along with. I love interesting conversations on almost every possible topic and like meeting interesting people. I believe that life is a continuous journey of learning and I explore every opportunity to learn something new from people I meet. Grew up between Pune and Bangalore (India) and represent a bit of the spoilt 'urban kid' of the country, I am still trying to find my identity. :) Worked in different areas in my career so far. From being a Sales guy to a functional consultant. Otherwise a normal lad with dreams in his eyes, and a hope to keep going. I am just living life!

Another interesting thing is that I am now living in a 3rd diff city in as many years. Lived under 8-10 roofs and life has been offering a lot of travel in the last few years. Guess, at my nomadic peak but all this while I am still earning a living. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Life is a great leveler. Any and every moment in life can teach you something.
What goes around, comes around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

May not be as active as many others here but I do participate by hosting and meeting fellow couch surfers whenever time permits. So far hosted couple of surfers at home and made friends with some at the meets. Hoping to experience of being hosted too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quite an eye opener and does really make you question if there are really any boundaries in this world and if they are needed. Making new friends across the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Read mostly fiction. Currently on 'The last Mughal' by William Dalrymple.

Don't watch too many movies and with Music I have a varied interest but limited to listening. Currently enjoying the Coke Studios which is a fusion music with Sufi background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived one day in Mumbai with my friend, exploring the dingiest of places and eating the most unhygienic yet yummiest of food (allah beli), heading straight to a party at one of the best of hotels in the city and ending up drinking the whole night an inexpensive local bar. All in a day, exploring the stark contrasts of life the city offers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am open to ideas. I like listening to new things and learn about the ways of life, culture and also share my interpretation of my surrounding. Possibilities are infinite to learn and share, all that matters is the willingness to do so and the quest of being a better person.
