About Me

I quit my job in 2014 to travel around the world for a year. I learned so much about different cultures through the people, food, and land. I have returned to Indianapolis and am working in healthcare until I have replenished funds to travel again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a Host: When I'm not traveling, its time to pay it forward to other travelers out there. I've been surprised by the generosity and hospitality I've received on the road. Now, I hope you will feel welcome here exploring the city I call home.

As a Guest: Hostels and camping are great but I'm ready for something different. I want to meet local people and experience your city like a local.

Interests

I enjoy hiking or finding the highest point in a city for the best views. I like going to art galleries, theatre, wineries, and one-of-a-kind attractions that make a place unique. I enjoy an active lifestyle of biking to work, walking to places whenever possible, and practicing yoga. I enjoy cooking vegetarian and vegan meals.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach yoga, tennis lessons, or cooking from scratch.

Learn: I'm interested in learning about you and where you are from. I don't shy away from conversations about religion, politics, and society. My goal is to better understand the world.

Share: I love cooking! Sharing food and conversations around the dinner table is one of my favorite things. I have a huge front porch for sipping tea/coffee or wine/beer. :)
