Über mich
I grew up in the small rural towns of Rossinver and Sligo, on the west coast of Ireland. I have a freelance design business, and use it to fund my self-study and travels – hopefully learning of the world and growing as a person.
I'm an avid learner, a generalist. I like to try new things, to attempt new experiments and to continually push my comfort zone. I believe it's one of the best ways to learn, grow and experience life.
What you can expect: Someone who’s open-minded and friendly. I'm an independent person, introverted and try to be disciplined in what I do. At the same time I try not to take myself too seriously and am always up for trying something new and having a good laugh. Optimistic and curious :)
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I'm on couchsurfing to explore the world, to meet others, learn about and from them.
I really want to challenge my fears and assumptions about the world and myself. Staying with someone I’ve never met in a completely different country is a bit of a nerve-wracking prospect for someone like me, but that's exactly how I want to challenge myself. I want to push my comfort zone in getting out there and finding new experiences and new perspectives. I'd like to learn more about people from all over the world; to expand my knowledge and my world-view, knowing there's much more I don't know about life than that I do.
And ultimately through my experiences to grow as a person, to have a laugh and to contribute to the lives of others; teaching, sharing and giving in whatever way I can.
