CURRENT MISSION

My husband Ted and I just got married in June 2019. We left our jobs in Denver, packed up our apartment, and hit the road for 6-8 months of traveling. We started by road tripping through western Canada, and are currently making our way down the western US. In late October we will be traveling internationally to Asia and potentially South America or Europe.

ABOUT ME

I am from Minnesota, but have lived in Denver, CO (until recently) since 2012. I have a Masters degree in Accounting, and have worked most of my career in the technology industry. I love being outdoors, hiking, biking, and swimming mostly. I strive to keep learning and finding different ways to give back.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a couchsurfing member for a long time, but have never used it before. Since I do not have a home at the moment, and am traveling, I am looking to use couchsurfing to find places to stay and people to meet on our travels. When we return home and have our own place, I would love to give back by hosting people there as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to use Couchsurfing, but I do know a lot of people that host and use it while traveling. I look forward to using it as we go forward!

兴趣

I am most interested in the outdoors. I love to hike, bike, swim, and be outside in any form. I also enjoy reading, researching, and learning new things. I cherish time on my computer at a coffee shop, just relaxing and working on different projects. I love people, and live for spending time with my friends, family, and husband.

One of my favorite experiences recently was swimming in Crater Lake. It was a beautiful late summer day, the sun was shinning, and the water was super blue, deep, and clear. A very amazing experience!

I have a ton of experience in accounting and finance, with a very strong interest in entrepreneurship. I love to travel, and would love to learn more about sustainability on our travels.
