Overview
About Me
We're a couple of silly people who grew up in and around Toronto and absolutely love our city. We've travelled around to many places on earth and we are still proud to call Toronto home. We just finished travelling around North American and Asia over the last two and a half years.
If you take the time to get to know us, you'll quickly see that we're open-minded jokers who like to dance, laugh, share and love life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to experience a new culture is to stay where the locals are. We also love hosting and can't think of a better way to invite like-minded people into our home and to see our great city. It's a great way to get to have/share authentic experiences and make real connections.
Interests
Meditation and self-development play a huge part in our lives. We also enjoy rock climbing, camping, hiking (trekking) and partaking in various other outdoor activities. We love watching movies and TV shows (sci-fi, good dramas). We probably have too many intellectual conversations - about anything and everything including but not limited to our quest to find inner peace, psychology and science, technology and ethics.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - we LOVE drum & bass and house music, otherwise we also enjoy rock, trip-hop, hip-hop, ambient and pretty much anything else people introduce us to.
Movies - we like a wide variety of movies (except for the scary kind), particularly documentaries and epic dramas/thrillers like Inception, Interstellar.
Books - we read mostly non-fiction, but we do enjoy the occasional fiction book as well. Some non-fiction authors include Sam Harris, Frans de Waal, Yuval Harari. Fiction authors: Neil Gamen, Brandon Sanderson
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
November 2015, we quit our jobs to embark on a 2.5-year journey. First we travelled around North America for 10 months in a van - visiting cities, national parks, and various rock climbing areas.
Then we wandered around Asia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We're very neat guests and follow the golden rule of "treat others as we would like to be treated." That means keeping a clean room and kitchen and tidying up before we leave.
We usually cook food for our hosts at least once if we have the time.
We can also give some great documentary recommendations!
