Hello!
A few years ago I spent a year travelling through Asia and Europe. I had a great time, and part of that was having some great couchsurfing experiences. I’ve just recently returned to my hometown of Nelson.
I'm a fairly quiet person but I very much enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some amazing couchsurfing experiences, I think its such a great way to meet local people when travelling, and to meet interesting people when back at home.

Interests

Reading books, listening to music, cycling, classic cars, craft beers, amongst other things...
And travelling, of course.
And the odd drink or two.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - U2, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, and all the good kiwi bands (Shihad, The Feelers, Crowded House).

Movies - Braveheart is awesome. The Castle is very funny.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping under the stars in the desert, in Rajasthan (India) was pretty awesome.
Riding the Japanese skinkansen (bullet train) and watching the countryside fly past while eating some yummy bakery food was probably even better. Japan has the best bakeries..who would've thought?
