I WANT MORE THAN JUST PROVIDE A PLACE TO SLEEP TO MY GUESTS. IF YOU ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO STAY, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A REQUEST:

I want to spend time with my guests, have the opportunity to socialize and to find out about their adventure. I believe; we will all be getting something amazing out of the experience.

I am a social butterfly, I love meeting new people and help them discover new things. I love taking people to great outdoor places on hikes. I would love to meet people travelling and show them a good time.

If you can afford a few dollars for gas then we can go explore more and further away. I host a great number of people so your help with the cost of gas , would be appreciated. If you cannot, I would still be glad to take you around.

I do not drink any alcohol but you are welcome to have a beer or a glass of wine with your meal to relax at the end of the day in my home.

I am retired have lots of time on my hands.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet travellers and maybe offer them one or two places if they are traveling as a couple or as good friends and are sharing the guest room. I like to offer more than a simple place to stay for free. I want my guests to feel like they have seen Victoria through a local resident s eyes. Let s make this experience amazing!!!

Interests

Taking people on hikes, taking them for coffee and basically showing them our beautiful outdoors area. Hang out find out about their adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hiked many nice trails and mountains on Vancouver Island and the Olympic mountains in Port Angeles,WA, USA. I have traveled a bit due to my work. I have ran many marathons and a few adventure races.
