About Me

@devoltaavidareal

We believe and support the cultural interchange of CS Community!

We are a questioning couple, so we used to question the meaning of living in one place for the rest of our lives and decided to break some paradigms by selling all our things in our apartment in Rio de Janeiro and going out into the world. We experience a frugal and minimalist lifestyle. We live with few things and that's all we have.

We are two "former engineers" and for a long time we worked at 9-5. Today, we work with financial planning, based on a more frugal philosophy of life. We see value in making people discover what is essential to them, and who knows, make them world travelers like us. We believe this is the best way to KNOW the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We believe in the importance of cultural exchange and we use couchsurfing as an instrument to get to know people, cultures, as well as to show off a little bit of our culture. Felippe is a vegetarian and loves to cook, he usually cooks our dinners and receives several compliments from the hosts. I am the most communicative of the two of us and love to listen and share stories in couchsurfing. I am passionate about the connections that a trip around the world gives us, much more than sightseeings, which in fact matters less and less on our journey.
We were backpacker during our entire adult life and we have stories from over 40 countries to share.
