ABOUT ME

I am absolutely addicted to traveling. My goal is to see every country in the world before I die. So far I have spent a month in New Zealand, a month in Fiji, a combined 8 months in Brazil over two trips (update 9 months over 3 - WORLD CUP!!), 2 months in Europe, 2 weeks in India, 2 weeks in Colombia, 2 weeks in Jamaica, and a little time in Belize. Heading to Moscow now and already booked my flight for Iceland in May.

I'm also a huge rugby and music fan. I've played rugby for almost a decade now, and I've been playing music pretty much since I was born. I play saxophone, percussion, drums, and a little bass. I've also recently picked up playing pool in an amateur league.

PHILOSOPHY

For me the meaning of life is all about making memories. If I wake up one day and I'm 80 years old and I only have half a dozen stories to tell then I haven't lived my life. I try to live every day to its maximum potential, pushing to make it a day worth telling someone about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In all the time I was in Brazil I never once paid for a place to stay. I traveled around the country staying at the houses of friends I made along the way. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Since then I discovered the couchsurfing site and have made many friends that I still stay in touch with years later.

Música, películas y libros

I love movies. My favorites are V for Vendetta, Man on Fire, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

As for music, I have very eclectic tastes. I enjoy everything from blues and funk to rock and hip hop. About the only music I don't enjoy is country.

I enjoy reading on occasion, though it's often hard for me to find the time to do it.
