About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do all the things I have yet to do
ABOUT ME
Well, in answer to the American question: 'what do I do?' I'm a scientist at a biotech. In answer to the more important question: 'what would I do if (when) I win the lottery?' I'd travel more, read more, sail more, meet more people of all walks and from all places, find more ways to work for social justice. Probably stay up even later and sleep in more, too.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all interconnected...the actions of each of us effect all...call it ripples in a pond or karma, but both the small and the large decisions determine the kind of world this is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with C/S hosts in the US and have hosted several travelers in Durham. These have ranged from good to really great experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently: loved the films 'Tree of Life' and 'Monsieur Lazhar'
Read 'Solitude of Prime Numbers,' 'Humbolt's Gift,' 'Madam Bovary,' and 'Haroun and the Sea of Stories.'
Just discovered Tuneyards... very fun, idiosyncratic, african-influenced music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Favorite recent adventure: I sailed from Greenport, Long Island, to St. George, Bahamas on a Swan 48, with Tania Aebi as skipper.
